Peroneus longus does not attach to MT5 so avulsion of the tendon would not cause point tenderness at the tubercle of MT5

Lateral compartment syndrome would affect the superficial peroneal n and decrease sensation between all the toes except 1 and 2 since that space is supplied by the deep fibular n. Since the lateral compartment is supplied by perforating arteries of the peroneal a there would not be a decrease in the dorsalis pedis pulse.
