Thus, this question is evaluated False for anterior compartment syndrome also. I am not sure why you have linked dorsalis pedis pulse with lateral compartment. Diminished dorsalis pedis pulse would be suggestive of anterior compartment syndrome. Typically, diminished dorsalis pedis pulse would not predict lateral compartment syndrome unless the dorsalis pedis was a continuation of the perforating peroneal artery rather than the anterior tibial artery. The deep posterior department would be high on the differential in this case.
